The Goosenator

This autonomous robot was created as a course project for first-year mechatronics. It aims to intake, sort and properly dispose of eggs based on colour. Its purpose is to provide an effective way to control the goose population on campus.

Features:

  • Self-navigation with programmable path.
  • Error correction and self-trajectory adjustments using PID control loops.
  • Built using Lego, VEX and 3D custom-printed parts. Programmed in RobotC.
  • Used extensive unit testing to ensure optimal design of chassis, intake mechanisms and sensor placement.
